Grandfather, Don Robinson, opened Don's Bar-B-Que and Seafood Restaurant on Highway 90 in Jennings, in the early fifties until 1973. DonnE said he knew, even at the early age of 7, that this is what he wanted to do, cook for other people. So I guess you could say he started training with his grandfather from the age of 6 or 7 and has with stood the tests of time with only short stints working in other fields.
This is the front door of the restaurant, and once you come in, you're hooked, line and sinker. The fragrances coming from the kitchen are like an aphrodisiac, you are powerless to resist.
